Coach Alex

 Alex Mitchell is a dedicated coach and instructor with years of experience in both cheer and dance. A 2006 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, she cheered for six years and competed in all-star cheer with Basics Superstars. She went on to cheer at the University of Akron for four years while earning her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Dance. Alex also spent two seasons as a dancer for the AFL Cleveland Gladiators “Goddesses” dance team. 

Her coaching career includes leading teams at the University of Akron, Wheeling middle, St. Clairsville middle, Bridgestreet, and St. Clairsville High School, while also coaching at MC Royalty All Stars, where she has been for seven seasons. She also has a strong dance background, training at Toni Zeakes Performing Arts Centre for 16 years and teaching at Studio MC Performing Arts Centre for the past nine years. 

Alex is passionate about helping athletes grow in confidence, skill, and strength, both on the mat and the dance floor. She believes that with the right mindset and dedication, every athlete can wear their crown with pride! 👑
