We offer three different types of All Star teams to support athletes at every stage of their cheer journey:
Novice
For individuals who are new to All Star but ready for performance-based teams that are evaluated at events. Novice teams focus on strengthening technique and performance skills that help prepare athletes for competitive All Star teams.
Prep
For individuals with limited tumbling who want to strengthen technique and performance skills in a competitive team atmosphere. Prep teams typically require less time and cost commitments than are required of All Star Elite teams.
Elite
For individuals with strong cheer training and solid technical ability. Elite teams are comprised of athletes who are ready for highly competitive performance levels.
Please note that athletes are placed on teams by our coaching staff. Coaches carefully evaluate each athlete’s skills, experience, and team dynamics to make placements that best support both the athlete and the team as a whole. Parent and athlete preferences are taken into consideration, but final decisions are made by our coaches to ensure the best fit for everyone.
It’s true—All Star cheer can be an expensive sport due to travel, uniforms, competitions, and training. However, we truly believe that no athlete should miss out because of finances. We pride ourselves on offering fundraising opportunities and working with families to help make cheer more affordable. If you’re passionate about cheer, we’ll do our best to help make it happen!
All Star Cheer is a competitive, team-based sport that combines tumbling, stunts, jumps, dance, and performance. It’s not the same as school cheer—our athletes compete at regional and national competitions throughout the season.
We have teams for a wide range of ages and skill levels, starting as young as 3 years old. We’ll help find the perfect team fit for your child!
Not at all! We welcome athletes of all levels, from brand-new beginners to seasoned cheerleaders. We focus on building skills, confidence, and teamwork.
Yes—most teams attend competitions that may require travel, including overnight stays. We do our best to provide schedules in advance so families can plan accordingly.
